Who doesn’t love a good playdough Recipe?

I’m telling you, this playdough is seriously the best. It is our go to recipe and it lasts forever. The best part is that it doesn’t require much effort or too many ingredients. Once we stock up we are able to make batch after batch without having to run to the store.

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 1 1/2 cup

  • Salt: 3/4 cup

  • Coconut Oil: 1 tbsp

  • Cream of Tartar: 1 1/2 tbsp

  • Boiling Water: 1 cup

  • Food Coloring

Directions:

Mix 1 cup of flour with the salt, coconut oil, and cream of tartar. Add food coloring of choice to boiling water and pour into the mix as well. Gradually add the additional flour until you get the consistency desired. The more you knead the softer the dough will be.

It is important to store in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out. The more it is played with the softer it will become.

We hope this recipe will bring many playdough creations into your home or school. We would love to see your playdough uses. Tag us in your play on social media (@playbeyondthelines on Instagram and Facebook) or share in the comments below.
