Welcome to Play Beyond The Lines! We are so excited that you have made it to our creative corner of the internet. What really began as a passion project for Heidi has evolved through our collaboration together. We want to be a unique resource for learning and play engaging children of all ages. We look forward to expanding this into a community where value and inspiration can be found for anyone and everyone, no matter your role in the child’s life.

So who are we? 

We are Heidi and Rachel, two real life friends since high school (way back when) and though Heidi is in Ohio and Rachel is in St. Louis our friendship remains strong!

Creating is an outlet for each of us personally. Rachel has a knack for graphic design with her background in art education and her Esty shop Rachel Lynn Prints. A full time nanny and Aunt Rachey to her niece and nephews, she has a passion for childcare and child development.

Heidi is drawn to education with many years spent in the classroom. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, an Intervention License and a Master’s in Educational Psychology. As a mom of three with a goal for her children to learn through creative play we were able to combine both of our passions and knowledge and Play Beyond The Lines was born.
